Game of Thrones Wins Best Drama At 2016 Emmys

Game of Thrones won big at 2016 Emmys as it bagged the award for best TV Drama beating The Americans, Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey, Homeland, House of Cards and Mr. Robot.

Apart from winning 9 creative Emmys earlier in the week, director Miguel Sapochnik and showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss won the awards for direction and writing respectively.
