Game of Thrones actor Iwan Rheon to play Adolf Hitler in ‘satirical’ TV film
Iwan Rheon will star as the Nazi in a TV film charting the tyrant to- be’s attempts to enroll at the Vienna Academy of Fine Art in his younger years.
The one-off script takes a satirical look at Adolf Hitler as a young man, before he turned to politics and attempted to pursue a career in art.
Having played sadist Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones for the past few seasons, fans might not be shocked to hear that Rheon has been chosen for the role of history’s most evil man.
And joining him in the cast is Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint, playing close friend August Kubizek.
Chatting with The New York Times, Rheon told them he’ll be playing “a young Hitler” in Adolf the Artist : before quipping: “Oh, I’m typecast already.”
