Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington can’t wait for “Game of Thrones” season 6 to begin. In a recent interview, both have expressed their delight over the upcoming season. Talking to Digital Spy, the Jon Snow actor said he’d still tune in on the HBO TV series. “Yeah, absolutely,” he told the source above. “Can’t wait for the next season. “
But while he’s excited about the series, he insisted once again that the public should now accept the fact that his character was dead.“I was hoping that there would be an outcry of ‘why?’ and ‘oh god, no, no’ rather than ‘thank god.”People didn’t want me to die, but he’s dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.”
Despite the sightings in Belfast last year, Kit Harington insisted that he’s not been active for “Game of Thrones” season 6 just like he used to. Emilia Clarke has also pointed out in the past that the sightings may just be a trick for people snooping on their set. “I haven’t done ‘Thrones’ in a while,” the 29-year-old actor also explained as quoted by Vanity Fair. “I had quite a lot of time off last year. I’ve been taking it easy. And relaxing.”
Just like the Kit Harington, his “Game of Thrones” co-star Emilia Clarke also expressed excitement for season 6. In a recent interview with E! News, she even promised that “the biggest moments on television” will be seen by April. The public also got revved up for the series after Maisie Williams revealed earlier this month that Jon Snow may be dead but there would be a twist.
“Everyone felt so sad about it,” the 18-year-old spilled as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. “And I felt so mean, because I’d speak to people, and they’d be like, ‘Jon Snow…is he back?’ And it’s really heartbreaking, because they’re like, ‘Yeah, but he’s coming back though.’ It’s a great twist, but I can’t say that he’s going to be alive.”
