Emilia Clarke, who portrays the famous character of Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones stopped to talk to E! News’ Giuliana Rancic at the Emmy Awards 2016. On being asked about how she would come to terms with the show coming to an end in 2 years, she said, “on . It will be really, really intense. But it’s still a little ways away, so I kinda have time to have it sink in.” She told the viewers what she plans to get into post Game of Thrones.

“Well, I was really lucky with Me Before You, this movie I did, because I got a little foray into comedy. Lots of tears, but yeah, doing comedy. More of that would be wonderful,” she says.

Fans stopping to admire her when they spot her on the roads is nothing new for her, but she said that she gets just as excited as her fans when they approach her. “Yeah, yeah. I do [remember the first time I was recognized]. And it was really bizarre,” Clarke says. “I think I was and still I always get just as flustered as anyone else. If they’re like, ‘Oh, my goodness,’ I’m like, ‘Oh, hi.’”

She has got a long way to go still and we hope it continues to be on an upward curve. You can watch the complete interview below.
